Tips for your first indoor session

  • Bring indoor balls if you have them. They're softer and have bigger holes than outdoor balls; most clubs supply them for open play.
  • Wear court shoes with non-marking soles. Running shoes slip on gym floors.
  • Book early for evenings and weekends. Winter prime time fills fast at clubs.
  • New to the game? Look for "Pickleball 101" or beginner open play in the beginner-friendly list.
